Compare and contrast traditional education techniques with the process of hypnopaedia. What is gained and what is lost?
kolbaska11 [484]

Hypnopaedia is the technique of learning while sleeping. In this technique a recording is played while the student sleeps and it tends to be saved in your memory. But for the Hypnopaedia to work the mind should be at a stage of fully asleep. The subconscious does not work at the stage of deep sleep.

Traditional Education is more of a fully aware state of learning. This process not only helps us understand and learn things but also tells us how to behave in society. With the changing technology many such techniques might come but the essence of traditional learning is important to interact and  accept the challenges in life.

Lines 1–9: What words and phrases make the anecdote especially vivid? What effect does word choice have on this opening paragrap
Aleksandr-060686 [28]

Answer and Explanation:

1. The words that make the joke vivid are adjectives like "shines", "tiny", "White" "luminous", "red", "redness." The phrases that make the anecdote vivid are the descriptive phrases that present what is happening in the story being told, among these phrases we can quote: "The spotlight shines on the magician's assistent", "The great Tonsoni annouces he will change her dress from white to red", "The woman is  awash in flood of redness."

2. These words have an effect of creating mental images in the reader who can see what is being discarded through the words presented. This promotes a full understanding not only of the story, but of the space it presents and the configuration that is exposed.
