Answer:

f(x) = bx, where b > 0 and b ≠ 1

Step-by-step explanation:

Study, study, study and remember that equation because that's the most important thing about it. You should know how to graph the points out and pinpoint which number goes where. Other than that, watch Khan Academy videos! They're very helpful... or read an article.

Hope this helped

Answer:

An exponential function can describe growth or decay

It gets rapidly smaller as x increases, as illustrated by its graph. In the exponential growth of f(x), the function doubles every time you add one to its input x.

Julie works in chicago and has to pay $14 per day on tolls and $76 a day for gas. If she makes $19 an hour how many hours must s
enot [183]

Answer:

19 hours.

Step-by-step explanation:

T = -14 -76 + 19h

The -14 is the cost for tolls, and the -76 is the cost for gas. The 19h is the amount she'll get per hour if she makes $19/hour. And T is the total profit

We want to solve for h if T = 260

260 = -14 -76 + 19h

+14      +14

274 = -76 +19h

+76    +76

350 = 19h

/19      /19

18.42 = h

She must work 19 hours.

Hope this helps!

*Translate into an algebraic expression: How much 50% sugar syrup can you make if you have x grams of sugar?
Irina-Kira [14]

Answer:

w = x/50% = x/50/100

Step-by-step explanation:

We would turn the above question into an algebraic expression using variables.

To make a sugar syrup, we need sugar and water to form the solution.

Amount of sugar = x gram

Let amount of water = w gram

Sugar syrup solution = 50%

Sugar syrup solution = (amount of sugar)/(amount of water) × 100

50% = x/w × 100%

50% = x/w

Making w subject formula

w = x/50%

w = x/50/100

Find the values of sand y <br> VR=y<br> TS=x+11<br> VT=y-3x <br> RS=x+2
Bumek [7]
I'm guessing this is a parallelogram or something, so VR=TS and RS=VT
therefore, y=x+11 and x+2=y-3x
y=x+11 , 2=y-4x
y=x+11 , y=4x+2
then use the process of elimination:
   y=4x+2         then plug in:    y=3+11
-  y=x+11                                 y=14
   0=3x-9                     I think this is how you'd do it, tbh it's just an educated
  3x=9 , x=3                               guess. Btw, sorry if it looks weird

A band sold out 4 of its last 20 shows. What is the experimental probability that the band's
kykrilka [37]

Answer:

\frac{1}{5} probability

Step-by-step explanation:

P(Sold Out)= \frac{4}{20}

\frac{4}{20} =\frac{1}{5}

So since the experimental probability is the number of times an event occurs out of the total number of trials...

The answer to "what is the experimental probability that the band's  next show will be sold out?" Is \frac{1}{5}!!!

Hope this helped you!

Have a nice evening!
