Answer:SCULPTURE: ADDITIVE,SUBTRACTIVE AND KINETIC

1. SCULPTURE

2. SCULPTURE  Sculpture is three-dimensional artwork created by shaping or combining hard materials, typically stone such as marble, metal, glass, or wood, or plastic materials such as clay, textiles, polymers and softer metals. The term has been extended to works including sound, text and light.

3. TYPES OF SCULPTURE  Subtractive process  Additive process  Kinetic sculpture

4. SUBTRACTIVE  Subtractive sculpture is the oldest form of sculpture and involves removing material, as in wood carving or stone sculpture, to create a finished work. Subtractive sculpture is by far the most technically difficult and due to the nature of the medium is the most restrictive in expression.

5. ADDITIVE  Additive sculpture describes all other forms of sculpture and the process most commonly used today. Simply put, additive sculpture is the process of creating sculpture by adding material to create the work.

6. KINETIC  Kinetic art is art from any medium that contains movement perceivable by the viewer or depends on motion for its effect.

7. SCULPTURE IS CREATED IN FOUR BASIC WAYS:  Carving  Modeling  Casting  Construction

8. CARVING Subtractive process: material is removed  Mainly wood and stone (marble)

9. MODELING Additive process: material is added  Clay, wax, plaster, paper-mache

10. CASTING  Casting: a mold is used to form molten bronze(or other material) into a desired shape.

11. CONSTRUCTION  Construction: welding, gluing, nailing materials together.

12. ASSEMBLAGE  Assemblage: assembling found objects in unique ways.

13. RELIEF  Relief: attached to a surface

14. KINETIC SCULPTURE  Kinetic Sculpture: movable parts (wind)

15.  Free-standing or full-round.

2. Either B or C

3. I think the story is a building that was specifically build for religious purposes. (I won’t specify religion cause I don’t see murals of any god in particular neither angels or stuff and I don’t wanna get attacked)

4. I think the photographer was successful. However I would change the angle. I would take the picture from a high place looking down at the door. Because I feel like even tho the shape of the building might not be as clear the overall picture will improve.
