HELPPP ONLY HAVE LITTLE TIME PLEASE HELP
djyliett [7]

Answer:

Some Americans felt that the Articles of Confederation was not sufficient for the new nation because Congress had little power. Other than the few things they were able to do, the rest of the power belonged to the states. I think it was most important to correct that Congress wasn't able to enforce any of its powers, and also unable to collect state debts. If Congress couldn't enforce any of its powers, it couldn't really control anything. If they were also unable to collect state debts, then they wouldn't have enough money either. Money was essential, since if Congress didn't have money or enough power, they were pretty much almost pointless.

Hope this helped!

sdas [7]

Answer:

Many predicted that the South win the war.

Explanation:

The Civil War of the 1860s fought between the North (Union) and the South (Confederates). Many expected the South to win the war because it had the military advantage as they knew the terrain (landscape) better than the North and battled for their land. The South more men qualified as officers and soldiers. Majority of the famous Generals and Commanders in America were from the Southern region including; Robert E. Lee, Nathan Bedford Forrest, James Longstreet, Stonewall Jackson and others. The Confederate officers recognised by their ambitious nature and individualistic. They followed the rules of honour and personal pride, which help them to fight together for the cause.

Tatiana [17]

Schenck v. United States 1919 was a landmark decision case that helped to define the limits and reaches of the First Amendment when it pertains to the right to free speech during wartime.

This decision provided further clarity when pertaining to when the government is allowed to limit free speech.

Charles Schenck was arrested for distributing flyers that urged young men to resist the draft. Shenck was found guilty of performing disloyal acts and being dangerous to national security.
