What do we learn about the theme of innocence vs. experience from the characters of Captain Barton and Marilyn?

English

Barton is the hero. He is an EDS pilot. Despite the fact that he should eject Marylin from his ship, he shows sympathy toward her. Barton tries to figure out how to help Marylin and treats her with affectability and even discloses to her she isn't a quitter. Barton is a decent person who is compelled to do an awful thing.

Marilyn is a casualty of a terrible circumstance. She should kick the bucket because of her misstep of choosing an EDS to stowaway on. Marilyn is just 18, however, demonstrates development by settling her destiny. She bites the dust a saint as opposed to attempting to influence the peruser to feel frustrated about her. Plainly honest of mal aim, Marilyn is a casualty of the laws made by the general public that murders her.

PART B: Which of the following quotes best supports the answer to Part A? A “We but half express ourselves, and are ashamed of t
MatroZZZ [7]

Answer:

C “Whoso would be a man must be a nonconformist... Nothing is at last sacred but the integrity of our own mind.” ( Paragraph 4)

Explanation:

The question refers to Ralph Waldo Emerson's famous essay "Self-Reliance".

The main idea in this essay could be regarded as the necessity not to fall into society's mold which will make bunch of people whose thoughts and views will be the same, as is expected of them. People shoud act upon their own free will, learn to think for themselves instead of blindly following others. All of these are features of non-conformists, as Emerson calls them.

The best supporting sentence to this idea would be answer C. It suggests that the real man must be non-conformist with a personal integrity and a head that thinks on its own.
