Terrestrial planets: Terrestrial planets are made up of rocks and metals with a hard surface. They also have a metal hard core. The terrestrial planets are Earth, Venus, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, and Neptune.

Jovian Planets: Jovian planets are the total opposite of terrestrial planets, Jovian planets are made up of rock, metal and hydrogen compounds. Jovian planets do not have a solid surface. The Jovian planets are: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.
