They lost hundreds of soldiers including several officers. This gave the Americans the courage and confidence that they could stand up to the British in battle. Many more colonists joined the army after this battle and the revolution continued to grow in strength.

The townspeople got angry for some reason and one threw a stone or something and that started it I’m pretty sure about six to seven people died(I don’t know how many were injured) and the “massacre” was the wrong word, the press used it to promote patriotism against the British.
