Answer:

m∠W = 55°

m∠Y = 45°

m∠Z = 80°

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to solve this problem we need to know that the sum of all angel of the triangle is 180°. Knowing this we can make an equation.

m∠W + m∠Y + m∠Z = 180°

Now we can substitute the angle values and find out what x is equal to. So we do...

(x - 15)° + (3x -165)° + 80° = 180°

x° - 15° + 3x° - 165° + 80° = 180°

4x° - 100° = 180°

4x° = 180° + 100°

4x° = 280°

x° = 70°

x = 70

Now we substitute the x and get the measurements of the angels.

m∠W = x° - 15° = 70° - 15° = 55°

m∠Y = 3x° - 165° = 210° - 165° = 45°

m∠Z = 80°

ammar hikes 23/4 miles of nature trail in 1 hour and 15 min .How many miles of trail does ammar hike per hour? pleas help me to
telo118 [61]
23/4 miles is as much as 5 3/4 miles. We can also write it as a decimal, because 5 3/4 = 5,75 miles.

If Ammar hikes 5,75 miles in 1 1/4 hour, then we need to find out what distance does he hike in 1/4 hour (15 minutes). To do that we can just divide 5,75 by 5 (because dividing 1 1/4 by 5 will give us 1/4 we're looking for).

5,75 / 5 = 1,15

It means that in one hour Ammar hikes 5,75 - 1,15 = 4,6 miles.

We can also write it as a fraction:

4,6 = 4 6/10 = 4 3/5 = 23/5 miles

What is the range of the data? 2,8,7,8,6,15,6,3,8
creativ13 [48]

Answer:

13

Step-by-step explanation:

The range of a data set is the difference between the greatest and least values in the set. In this case, the greatest value is 15 and the least value is 2 so the range is 15 - 2 = 13.
