A normal brain will often misinterpret or try to replace information or lack of information, in this case it will usually try to put false information into the senses of the person because it doesn’t know how to cope with the loss of a limb or other body part

Ganezh [65]

the correct answer would be James had also brought cookies to the bake sale. the first one is not the correct answer because it includes too many not needed words such as too and also.the third one is also incorrect because the original sentence above does not mention anyone named Alex and i includes both also and the word too in the same sentence and in the fourth it said in addition, meaning that he has also brought something other than cookies and it does not say anything other than cookies in the original sentence

A direct comparison between two unlike things
Dmitry [639]
If they're unlike things - it would be a metaphor.
When it comes to similes - you use words such as like or as when describing things. and since it emphasizes "unlike" things - metaphor would be the way to go.
It's quite hard sometimes when it comes for deciphering the two if you're familiar with the rule - so just remember: Simile: like or as.
Metaphor: extreme exaggeration, or a comparison without using like or as.
I hope all is well, and you pass! (: Good luck, rockstar! (:
