I need a essay about being trapped in a dangerouse situation, it has to be 5 paragraphs and it has to have metaphors and my emot

              Dangerous situation

I’m going to talk about a time when I was in a dangerous situation. When I was ten years old two guys mugged me, they threatened me with a gun and I was so

scared I remember thinking they were going to hurt me or even kill me. My father had a restaurant and he needed smaller bills to give change he could not leave

the restaurant, so he sent me to buy some groceries. On my way to the groceries store two guys told me to come closer I refused and walked away as fast as I

could, they came after me and grabbed me from my arms.

I can clearly remember them saying “What do you have? Give me all that you have or we will hurt you. ” I did not respond to them I was so scared that I could

not do it they started to drag me to a near dumpster. I remember I thought that would be my end. Seems like it was not my time to go, because a man saw what

was happening and ran to help me, he yelled at the muggers and they panicked they grabbed my cellphone and ran, they did not find the money my father gave

me, because hopefully I had hidden it on my socks just in case and my precaution was worth it.

The man asked me if I was ok I was still in shock trying to assimilate what just happened but I replied “yes, thank you”, he took me to my father’s restaurant

and told him what happened, my father hugged me and thanked the man for saving me. Being mugged was probably the scariest situation I have ever

experienced. I was a 10 years old kid who did not know if he was going to return to his home or see his parents again. I never want to live that experience again

and I would never wish that to anyone

Hope it helps

Name two put of the four common forms of descriptive language
rusak2 [61]

The four most common forms of descriptive language are adjectives, adverbs, similes, and metaphors:

Adjectives are words that describe what you can sense about a noun including sight, sound, smell, taste, touch, and emotion.

For example, an elephant eating grass could be described using adjectives as follows: The huge (sight) elephant sat in the warm (touch) sunshine contentedly (emotion) crunching (sound) the sweet (taste) fragrant (smell) grass.

Adverbs are words that modify verbs. They give more information about the verb by indicating “how” and “when”. Some examples of adverbs are smoothly, destructively, always, very, today, and yesterday.

Similes are phrases that use the words “like” or “as” to describe a noun by comparing it to another noun with similar characteristics. Examples:

The floor tiles were as cold as ice.

She was quick like a bunny.

The night sky was as black as coal.

Metaphors are phrases that describe several characteristics of a noun by comparing it to another noun. Unlike similes, metaphors do not use “like” or “as” and are more difficult to create. Examples:

She is more of an idea person (than a strategic one).

Life is a journey.

I am drowning in homework.
