Taylor may not be happy with her partner's behavior, but (s)he may not be abusing Taylor. For all we know, Taylor could be unhappy with the fact that her partner farts in public a lot. Also, a friend can dislike Taylor's partner, but she could still be in no danger. If Taylor (or anyone else for that matter) feels like they are in physical danger, then they need to call 911 or figure out a way to get help (as safely and harm-free as possible).
