Weighing advantages and disadvantages can help a student immensely when it comes to decision making. A student has to be able to make a decision based of what he/she believes in and must go off of what the advantages/disadvantages. Without a student being able to make these connections in life, they merely can not survive. Our instincts are based off what we can weigh, this is how humans have survived for so long.
