Upland simply refers to a land that is hilly. They are refered to as the areas that are high and above the sea level. They usually contain mountains, have high rainfall, and also have lower temperatures.
Upland can be found in the western part of Europe such as Norway, Denmark and Sweden. People in upland areas typically engage in agriculture.
