The economic success of after ww1 were founded on a very fragile string. the industrialists were benefiting, while the workers conditions remained poor. This disparity resulted to a lot of goods chasing less money, which altogether led to a crash of the economy.the depression afected workers who lost their pension, and industrialists who made losses, and the banking sector.
Economically, the once-prosperous south struggled due to the loss of their work force and the industrialization of farming and other processes.
Socially/culturally, southerns developed ways to deal with the new class of freedmen.
C the end of Reconstruction
In 1882 Germany, Austria-Hungary and Italy formed the Triple Alliance. The three countries agreed to support each other if attacked by either France or Russia. France felt threatened by this alliance. Britain was also concerned by the growth in the German Navy and in 1904 the two countries signed the Entente Cordiale (friendly understanding). The objective of the alliance was to encourage co-operation against the perceived threat of Germany.
