Yes. Without stem cell research there would be alot more sick people. There would be alot more sick people because Stem-cell research is an area of research that studies the properties of stem cells and their potential use in medicine. As stem cells are the source of all tissues, understanding their properties helps in our understanding of the healthy and diseased body's developmental and homeostasis. Stem cells originate from two main sources: adult body tissues and embryos.
