The organizational structure being used in this scenario is called order of importance. The individual is ordering the reasons why their goal is to earn straight A's by how important each reason is to his/her life. The most important reason for them is that getting such high grades will allow them to get into any college they want with a scholarship. After this, the next important reason is their parent's approval, but this is not as important as the scholarship. Therefore, the individual is dividing each reason by level of importance.
