Answer: All real numbers are solutions

Step-by-step explanation:

first lets distributive the 2(4x+1) to get 8x+2 because 2*4x= 8x and 2*1= 2

now the equation is 8x+2-5x+2= 3x+4

(COMBINE LIKE TERMS)

8x-5x=3x

2+2= 4

now the equation is 3x+4= 3x+4 (this means all real nubers are solutions)

The probability of a chance event is anumber between blank that expresses the likelihood that an event blank occur
Mademuasel [1]

The statements second, Third and Fifth are correct statement related probabilities. which represent the 0.25 indicates an unlikely event and

0.75 indicates a likely event and 0.5 indicates equally likely to occur or not occur.

According to the statement

we have given that the some points related the probability and we ahve to express the correct statement and explain them.

So, We know that the

Probability is a the chance that a given event will occur.

And we know that the

  • A zero probability (0) means that the event is impossible, it will never happen.
  • A one probability (1) means that the event will occur with certainty.

You might split the likelihood in some notorious outcomes:

0: impossible (the event will never happen)

Close to zero (about 0 - 0.3): unlikely (the chances are small)

0.5: even (equal chances of happening and not happening)

Close to 1 (about 0.7 - 1): likely (the changes are large)

1: certain (it is 100% sure that the event will happen)

This means that:

first statement, 0 indicates a certain event, is incorrect.

0.25 indicates an unlikely event (second statement is correct)

0.75 indicates a likely event (third statement is correct)

fourth statement is incorrect (1 does not indicate an impossible event, but a certain event)

0.5 indicates equally likely to occur or not occur (fith statement is correct).

So, The statements second, Third and Fifth are correct statement related probabilities. which represent the 0.25 indicates an unlikely event and

0.75 indicates a likely event and 0.5 indicates equally likely to occur or not occur.

George and veronica are both musicians who sell their sogn online during the same year George sold 8x10^5 download of his song a
anygoal [31]

George sold:

\begin{gathered} 8\times10^5 \\ =800,000 \end{gathered}

and Veronica sold:

\begin{gathered} 4\times10^6 \\ =4,000,000 \end{gathered}

As expanding the scientific notation numbers, we see that

George sold eight hundred thousand

Veronica sold 4 million

How many time is 4 million of 8 hundred thousand?

We simply divide!

\frac{4,000,000}{800,000}=5

So,

Veronica's song was downloaded 5 times the numebr of that of George.

B is the right answer.

Divide (x^2 - 5x - 6) by (x -6) with long division<br> show steps please!!
Katyanochek1 [597]

Answer:

see below. Quotient is (x +1).

Step-by-step explanation:

The general process is identical to numerical long division. You find a quotient term, multiply that by the divisor and subtract the result from the dividend to make a new dividend.

For polynomial long division, the quotient term is the ratio of the highest-degree terms of the dividend and divisor, so is easy to calculate without the guesswork involved in numerical long division.

Which of the following properties is represented by (ab)c = a(bc)?
DochEvi [55]

Answer:

Associative Property of Multiplication

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given three numbers-a,b,c.

We are given the property (ab)c = a(bc)

This implies that on the left hand side we first multiply a and b and then multiply the result by c. On the right side of the equation, we first multiply b and c and multiply a with the product of b and c.

As per the given property, the result in both the cases is the same.

This signifies the associative property of multiplication where the result is independent of the order of operation.
