The Alamo defenders including Davy Crockett, William B. Travis, James Bowie and James Fannin. The battle of the Alamo was met between the Texan soldier and the Mexican troops in 1836. The battle took place at a fort in San Antonio, Texas called it Alamo. Alamo was built in 1700 for Spanish missionaries later it transformed into a fort for the Mexican troops. The battle was fought to gain control of the fort. Mexican forces were victorious in recapturing the fort while the republican Texan lost it. Later to win this battle the Commander of Texan organised the troops and this led to the victory of the Texan.
