Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Perimeter of the rectangle = 200cm

Breadth of the rectangle = 10 cm

Therefore, by the problem

=> 2(l+b) = 200cm

=> 2(l + 10) = 200cm

= > l + 10 = \frac{200}{2}

=> l + 10 = 100

=> l = 100 - 10

=> l = 90

Hence, required length othe rectangle is 90 cm (Ans)

What is termed as unitary method?

"It is a method in which we obtain the value of a single unit by subtracting the value of multiple units and thus the value of multiple units by subtracting the value of a single unit."

 • The value of several things is given in the unitary method, and we must either figure out the significance of more or lesser things.
 • To do so, we must first determine the value of one item by division and then determine the value of ever more or fewer items by multiplication.

Now, for the given question;

1 cup of white rice is required for every 2 cups of milk by Rani.

Thus,

2 cups of milk ------> 1 cup of white rice.

So, using unitary method. Divide both side by 2.

1 cups of milk ------> 1/2 cup of white rice.

Now, calculate for the 3 cups of milk.

multiplying both side by 3.

3 cups of milk ------> 3/2 cup of white rice.

Therefore, the 3/2 cups of white rice required for the 3 cups of milk.

Fiona is pricing two bicycles one is 175 with 10% and the other is 225 with 35% off which bicycle can she afford if she has 150
Gekata [30.6K]
If the one for $175 is 10% off, that means Fiana pays 90% of the price

175 * 0.9 = $157.50

It is too expensive because 157.50 is more than the 150 Fiana has.

The second bike for $225 is 35% off which means Fiana pays 65% of the price.

225 * 0.65 = $146.25

She CAN afford the bike for $225

What is the domain of the function graphed below???? PLEASE HELP
Agata [3.3K]
You need to look at the x values when you calculate that.

There is a line which goes from -2 to 0. Another line at 0 to 4 and the last line is 7 to infinity.

You can combine the first two and get B) (-2, 4] and [7, infinity)
