U should revise a prediction when a new event occurs that would affect the prediction had originally made

When entering/leaving : ( stores, etc..) When the staff or anyone say "Welcome" or "Hello" , always say "Hello" back or it will make you look like you are ignoring them. Same goes to when you are leaving :)

Phone Calls : this one is important because when someone calls you and you start talking loudly or put them on speaker in public, it looks r u d e to the people beside you. They don't need to know what your private life is. I've had this happen a couple of times and its very uncomfortable.

First, Old Man Warner actually believes that the Lottery is good for the town. Twice he calls young people a "pack of fools," for even considering doing away with the Lottery. Tied to this point, he is a very traditional man. To change tradition is sacrilegious.

Second, he believes that there will be a good harvest if the town continues with the Lottery. He give us a little jingle that he recalls from the past: "Lottery in June, corn be heavy soon."
