Which of these words would appear first (nearest the front) in a dictionary?

English

The one that would be in the front is Anniversary because both anniversary and annual have the same three beginning letters but their 4th letters should be compared and I comes before U which makes Anniversary first

Answer: Anniversary

Explanation: "i" comes before "u" so anniversary would come before annual. With these kinds of questions you just start from the first letter and if there are multiple options that start with the same letter that would come first, move on to the next letter, if those are the same, move on to the next letter, etc.

Fill in each blank with the most appropriate word from the list: Domicile domestic domain domineer dominion dormant somnambulate
Advocard [28]
Dormant. The definition of dormant is like asleep, dozing, resting. Flower bulbs that are planted in the fall will sleep until spring when the warmer weather & rain wakes them up so they start growing. :)

In the great gatsby how does daisy treat her daughter
Inessa [10]
You can tell she loves and cares for her. She hoped she have a girl. She said " I'm glad it's a girl. and i hope she'll be a fool. Thats the best thing a girl can be in this world, a beautiful little fool."
Her daughter isn't mentioned incredibly often, though. hope this helps a little!
