History

Answer:

The answer is D. Free-Soilers opposed slavery for different reasons.

Explanation:

<u>Here are what my notes say from Plato:</u>

<em>"Free-Soilers were a group made up of antislavery people, including abolitionist Northerners, racist Westerners who didn't want African American people in their territories at all, and those opposed to slavery for economic reasons"</em>

<em />

It is definitely not E, because they did not accept slavery, It is not A, because some people in the group (like the Westerners) did not see it as right or wrong (moral), they just wanted them gone. It is also not C because although there were people in the group who did oppose it for economic reasons, not <em>all</em> of them were that way. Lastly, is is definitely not B, because the Free-Soilers did not oppose slavery itself, they only opposed the <em>expansion</em> of slavery.

Therefore, your answer is D.

What are the goals of all terrorists groups, regardless of ideology? Check all that apply.
iren [92.7K]
Many terrorist organizations are nationalists by another name.

Nationalist groups want freedom or independence from what they perceive as a outside power or force. Many terrorist organizations are formed to overthrow a government or gain access to nationalist state. ISIS for example wants an independent Islamic State which is free of Western influence. The Ku Klux Klan is a white nationalist group and also a domestic terrorist organization. Much of the terminology is perspective.
