Answer:
The Arab-Israeli conflict is a dispute in the Middle East between the Arab nations and Israel, which has been going on since 1948 since the formation of the state of Israel, causing many wars such as the Yom Kippur War or the Six Days' War.
The conflict originates mainly because the Arabs consider that the territory where the UN established the State of Israel belonged to the Muslim faithful, who had settled there for hundreds of years. The Israelis, in turn, consider that the Jewish people have the right to remain in that region because it is the land promised by God to his people.
In this sense, taking into account that religion is doubtful as to its accuracy, while history irrefutably demonstrates the permanence of the Arab peoples in the region, the Palestinian cause seems to have more arguments in its favor. Especially when the inhabitants of Israel, for the most part, are not people from the Middle East but ethnic Europeans.
