The Battle of Bunker Hill was a battle in the Revolutionary War. It occurred on June 17, 1775, in Boston. 2,200 British forces under the command of Major General William Howe, landed on the Charlestown peninsula, and marched towards Bunker Hill. The British won the battle, and Charlestown Peninsula became under British control.
