Answer:

15.7

Explanation:

In this question we have the following information

Employment in Motor Vehicle manufacturing within city = 12643

Total employment in motor city = 560379

Total individual employment = 152750

Total employment = 106201232

We get the location quotient as

(12643/560379)/152750/106201232

0.02256/0.001438

= 15.69

This is approximately

15.7

Therefore the location quotient = 15.7

During March, Adams Company had sales of $5,000,000, variable expenses of $3,000,000, and fixed expenses of $1,500,000. Assume t
ad-work [718]

Answer:

Option (c) is correct.

Explanation:

Variable cost as a percent of sales:

= (Variable expenses ÷ Sales) × 100

= ($3,000,000 ÷ $5,000,000) × 100

= 60%

If Sales = X

then Variable cost is 0.6X (i.e. 60% of Sales)

Sales - Variable cost - fixed expenses = net operating income

X - 0.6X - 1,500,000 = 300,000

0.4X = 300000 + 1500000 = 1800000

X = 1800000 ÷ 0.4

  = 4,500,000

Explanation:

There are two major forms of action in business decision making: strategic and tactical. Strategic action deals with decision that require major planning and investment of resource. Strategic actions have long term implementation and effect and are difficult to reverse.

Tactical actions, on the other hand, are flexible and involves actions taken on short term basis. Tactical actions are majorly bye-product of strategic decision.

On this note, Circus Aircraft`s  decision to double its plant capacity over the next two years is a strategic action because such a large plant expansion will require a major commitment of resources. And the action will not easily reversible.

Crazy boy [7]

The answer for

1) 3 socks

2) 5 socks

3) 1 pair of socks

Explanation:

1) In the second trial, you choose one color, you say black, first, and second, say blue. The third sock you're taking out now has two black or brown. Therefore, you must draw at least 3 socks to ensure that you have a single color pair..

2) You get black first.

You're pulling out brown, second.

You tear down charcoal, Thrid.

Second, you cut out charcoal. (one pair complete)

Second, you're only heading out. (2 pairs full) Thus, you have to take out at least 5 socks to guarantee two pairs in the same colour.

3) You want 1 pair of black socks

The worst case is:  [ 5 blu ]

The 6th pick guarantees you will have 1 pair of black socks
