Answer:

These chemical reactions produce waste products such as carbon dioxide, water, salts, urea and uric acid. Accumulation of these wastes beyond a level inside the body is harmful to the body. The excretory organs remove these wastes. This process of removal of metabolic waste from the body is known as excretion.

Energy comes in many forms: thermal, nuclear, chemical, mechanical, etc. Even though there are many forms of energy, all energy
Yakvenalex [24]

Answer:

i dont  think i can explain it easy sorry

Explanation:

The first law, also known as Law of Conservation of Energy,Thermal energy is the internal energy of an object due to the kinetic energy states that energy cannot be created or destroyed in an isolated system. | Nuclear energy originates from the splitting of uranium atoms a process called fission. This generates heat to produce steam, which is used by a turbine generator.

then the chemical bonds are broken, | the potential energy is released in the form of kinetic energy or energy of motion and heat or non useable energy. The kinetic energy is used to do work. | Objects have mechanical energy if they are in motion and or if they are at some position relative to a zero potential energyposition for example, a brick held at a vertical position above the ground or zero height position. A moving car possesses mechanical energy due to its motion

The second law of thermodynamics states that the entropy of any isolated system always increases.

How can these forelimbs explain how life changes over time?
Sonbull [250]

Answer:

The correct answer would be divergent evolution showing by homologous organs.

Explanation:

In the illustration human arm, the flipper of the dolphin, wings of bat and forearm of frog are shown. All  these four forelimbs have a different function, however, these forelimbs are having the same underlying anatomy.

The organs having basic structure and origin, but different functions are known as homologous organs. These organs point towards the same ancestor from these organisms evolved. They show a case of divergent evolution.

When related species become less similar in order to adapt and survive in different conditions, evolution is called divergent evolution.

Thus, these forelimbs provide evidence for divergent evolution.

Most consumers have a wide variety of choices in terms of the food products they choose to buy. These decisions can be influence
marusya05 [52]

Answer:

The ones that apply are: A) <em>Organic foods are free of all pesticides</em>, C) <em>Most food advertising is for processed foods and packaged foods</em>, and D) <em>Organic foods have higher levels of nutrients than their conventional counterparts.</em>

Explanation:

A) Organic food is cultivated with no use of pesticides, fertilizers or herbicides. These products came from ecological agriculture practices, a production system that uses techniques and methods that are respectful of nature. These practices have very strict rules about the use of chemical substances.

B) All free-range animals do not always have unlimited access to the outdoors. It depends on the producers and their criteria. Some producers let their animals spend most of their life and time outdoors and they are only kept indoors when climatic conditions or other situations occur to make the animal be confined for a short time. Other producers keep their animals indoor, letting them out for a few hours or minutes a day.

C) Most food advertising is for processed foods and packaged foods. Most of the advertisements that we watch on tv, in general, refer to processed food, especially of sweet nature or salted snacks. Also others that look like natural food, but are processed such as yogurts, flavored milk, juices, among others. Only a few advertisements are focus on real food such as meat, fruit in its natural state, or vegetables.

D) Organic foods have higher levels of nutrients than their conventional counterparts. Organic food has higher levels of nutrients, carbohydrates, antioxidant compounds, minerals such as iron, magnesium, or phosphorus. On the other hand, the concentration of proteins, amino acids, and nitrogen is lower in organic food because the organic compost used to fertilize leaves lower amounts of available nitrogen than chemical fertilizers used in conventional productions.

E) The term "natural" on food labels refers to food with no artificial ingredients or conservators added, no artificial colors and hardly processed. Natural food is the one that looks like its original state. This does not mean that these foods are organic. Natural food may or may not be organic.

Why might a compound resembling adp function as an inhibitor of protein kinase?
kotegsom [21]
Protein kinase is an enzyme that adds phosphate groups to molecules in order to alter their function. ADP, or adenosine diphosphate, has the ability to gain one phosphate group and can be acted on by protein kinase. If a molecule similar in structure to ADP were to come to protein kinase, it would bind to its active site and inhibit the binding of other molecules to the enzyme; therefore, impairing its function.
