can i use maison and appartement interchangeably cuz i dont want to be saying appartement like every other sentence but i also t

hink my teacher would read maison as a literal single house and get confused because im mentioning an apartment and a house in the same paragraph.

Un appartement as you know it’s like a hotel , with several room in there .

Then do what you want but don’t forget it’s not the same thing .
