Because Timbuktu was the starting point for trans-Saharan camel caravans which transported goods northwards. Timbuktu was one of the most important cities in the Mali Empire because of its location near the Niger River bend and so it was fed by the trade along both the east and west branches of this great water highway. And Djenné was important because it became a market centre and an important link in the trans-Saharan gold trade. In the 15th and 16th centuries, it was one of the centres for the propagation of Islam.

Would Social Media be a positive or negative thing for athletes or athletics ? (explain)
Zinaida [17]

Social Media would be extremely negative and energy wasting for athletes and athletics because social media always has something against everything. No matter their success, nobody will be ever accepted by the society, so why bother checking what they think about you? Companies that tell their people to do? No social media, it will be controlled by your managers/etc. Social media is a dangerous weapon to athletes, athletics, business, college students, highschool students, everyone. It is not suitable for anyone.

What were the three components of fdrs new deal
sveta [45]

Answer: Banking Act, Public Works Administration, Indian Reorganization Act.

Explanation:

As the crisis hit the banking sector hard, Roosevelt sought to help the banks. Citizens' savings were questionable. So Roosevelt organized a group that did the banking sector audit. In this way, savings were saved, and public confidence in banks restored.

The Great Economic Depression has contributed to the high unemployment rate. The Public Works Administration program involved rehabilitating the infrastructure. Millions of Americans are employed in this way.

The Indian Reorganization Act prevented the sale of tribal land and restored Indigenous ownership of undivided property.

zysi [14]

Answer:

Explanation:

What continued was the shared religon between China and India, well India mostly, of Bhuddism. Bhuddism stayed and is still a common religious practice to this day. Another thing that continued is the Egyption and chinese farming technique for fertile farmland. They both developed, egypt and ancient china near rivers and they took advantage of that. We see that today in china, where they use the yangtze river, yellow river etc. Also mesopotamia, china, and egypt both developed a language, in which china and egypt used pictograms and mesopotamia developed the first written language; cunieform. Languages are a big part of society today. What changed was the overall shape and meaning of a civilization and society, mesopotamia, because they developed the division of labor in which people had to work. It's also to note that mesopotamia invented and created many great finding and inventions, ex the wheel and how to do metal work.
