The being who took position as god of the sky has repeatedly proven to hold a seat of power over the rest of the world and the other beings. When beings like Uranus and Kronos destroyed their predecessor and took the position as god of the sky, they established their power. Zeus was the next god of the sky after he destroyed Kronos, like Kronos did Uranos, he established his power as the strongest much like his predecessors.
