Read "Swing Song" by A. A. Milne. Here I go up in my swing Ever so high. I am the King of the fields, and the King Of the town.

I am the King of the earth, and the King Of the sky. Here I go up in my swing . . . Now I go down. Imagination makes children feel powerful. This is a theme found in this poem. How does repetition strengthen the theme of imagination? The repeated words are spoken by an adult. The repeated words explain the child’s imaginary powers. The repeated words are dark and discouraging. The repeated words help readers feel calm and quiet.

Answer: The repeated words explain the child's imaginary powers.

Explanation:

I think you were asking for an answer to multiple choice, yes? Repitition often is used to add power or importance to a statement being made. By repeating the certain words of "King" and "Swing" you can get a sense of power that is meant to be created. The author is using it to stress the child-like imagination in the excerpt. Hopefully this answered your question and if not I'm happy to try again.

In a paragraph, explain Jonas's reaction to all of the new information
jeka94

Answer:

This question refers to The Giver by Lois Lowry.

Explanation:

Jonas' first reaction is to want to have more memories despite the fact that all this is new to him and many things he does not understand. He is excited and wants to know everything. He wants to tell everything to other people even though he knows he can't.

However, all these memories that he is receiving make him change his way of seeing the community. He does not understand why people have been forbidden all these things and his way of thinking changes even more when he sees how his father takes the life of a baby.

How does Arthur Miller use Abigail Williams as 'power' in The Crucible?
UNO [17]

Abigail Williams is the vehicle that drives the play. She bears most of the responsibility for the girls meeting with Tituba in the woods, and once Parris discovers them, she attempts to conceal her behavior because it will reveal her affair with Proctor if she confesses to casting a spell on Elizabeth Proctor.
