Write a 3 paragraph Essay. Each paragraph must have at least 5 sentences. Describe one way in which your same gender parent (or

another important adult) has served as a role model for you. What did you learn from them about being male or female? Who taught you things like doing your hair and makeup, how to shave or how to tie a tie? How did they help mold you into the person you are today? Now that you are older has your role model changed? Who do you look up to now?

Role models are people who influence you in life. They help shape your personality, and characteristics. They are someone who you look up to for advice in a hard situation, and know they will give words of wisdom. They never judge out past actions - instead they look to help because they really care.a perfect role model for me is my mother. She’s smart, ambitious, wise, patient and a loving person. There are no words that can describe my gratitude towards her, but I will describe some of her characteristics that make her my role model.

To begins with, I would like to describe my mother’s ambition. She wakes up every morning with the positive attitude, and a smile on her face. She is always searching for ways to improve her persona and live a happier life.

My mother taught me a lot of things that I had trouble understanding. she makes sure I understand everything I need to know. She taught me fashion and also used to help me do my hair or choose my clothes for me. Those small acts have now made me the person I am today and I am very proud to have her as my mother.

Hope this helps..!

How does the digestive system break down small proteins into amino acids? *
professor190 [17]

Answer:

Digestive system breakdown small proteins into amino acids by chemical digestion using enzymes (option B).

Explanation:

One of the main functions of the digestive system is to degrade food to facilitate its absorption at the intestinal level. This degradation has a mechanical phase, which includes chewing and contracting the stomach, and an enzymatic phase.

The enzymes that allow the breakdown of proteins into amino acids are called proteases, or peptidases. They are enzymes capable of breaking peptide bonds, obtaining at the end amino acids that can be more easily assimilated by the organism.

The other options are not correct because mechanical digestion reduces the size of the digested food and mixes it with the gastric juices, but does not break the peptide bonds.

Why does the average human have more nightmares then dreams??
gogolik [260]
· Most nightmares are a normal reaction to stress, and some clinicians believe they help people work through traumatic events.
· Nightmares, which tend to be more common in girls than boys, usually begin in childhood before age 10 and are considered normal unless they significantly interfere with sleep, development, or psychosocial development. They may continue into adulthood where they are often associated with outside stressors, anxiety, or trauma. They may also exist alongside another mental disorder.
· Nightmares are lengthy, elaborate dreams with imagery that evokes fear, anxiety, or sadness. The dreamer may wake up to avoid the perceived danger. Nightmares can be remembered upon awakening and may lead to difficulties returning to sleep or even cause daytime distress.
