Hello there.

<span>The photograph below shows a bouncing ball in front of an illuminated grid. The heights of the ball's bounces make a geometric sequence. What will the height of the next bounce be?

The sequence would be written as:

1.2, 0.84, 0.588, 0.4116

If this is a geometric sequence, then they should have a common ratio. We determine as follows:

0.4116 / 0.588 = 0.7
0.588 / 0.84 = 0.7
0.84 / 1.2 = 0.7

r = 0.7

an = a1(r^(n-1))
an = 1.2 (0.7^(5-1))
an = 0.28812 <--------option A

Which factor would make a bank think that a prospective buyer would be more likely to pay a mortgage on time? Select the best an
Veseljchak [2.6K]
The best answer is "<span>The buyer paid over 20% of the sales price of the home as a down payment."

This indicates that not only is the buyer paying above the minimum down payment, which means he/she has more cash than the minimum needed to purchase the home, but also that the monthly payments, interest, and total loan will be lower. All of this indicates a less risky prospective borrower. </span>

9,540,000 in expanded form using exponents to show power of 10
alina1380 [7]
The expanded form of 9,540,000 is:
9,540,000 = 9000,000 + 500000 + 40000 + 000 +00 + 0
we can also write it as :
9,540,000 = 9 x 1000000 + 5 x 100000 + 4 x 10000
and using exponents as power of 10 is:
9,540,000 = 9 x 10⁶ + 5 x 10⁵ + 4 x 10⁴

Which of the following relations has an inverse that is not a function?
sertanlavr [38]

Answer:

Option B is correct.

The relation which has an inverse that is not a function is :(1, 2), (1, 3), (4, 3)

Step-by-step explanation:

Inverse of a function is the set of ordered pairs obtained by interchanging the first and second elements of each pair in the original function.

Let f(x) ={(1, 2), (1, 3), (4, 3)}

To find the inverse:

Inverse of f(x)=g(x)= {(2, 1), (3, 1), (3, 4)}

Function states that a relation in which each input value has only one output value.

Since, g(x) is not a function because the input 3 has multiple output values,.

Therefore, the only relation which has an inverse that is not a function is :(1, 2), (1, 3), (4, 3)
