Tecumseh's war was a conflict between the United States and an American Indian confederation led by Shawnee leader Tecumseh in Indiana territory. Although the war is often considered to have culminated with William Henry Harrison's victory at the Battle of Tippecanoe in 1811, the Tecumseh War essentially continued in the war of 1812, and is often considered a part of that larger struggle. The war lasted for another two years, until the fall of 1813, when Tecumseh, as well as his second in command, Roundhead, died fighting the Northwest Harrison Army at the Thames Battle of Upper Canada, near present-day Chatham, Ontario, and his confederation disintegrated. Tecumseh's War is viewed by some academic historians as the final conflict of a long-term military struggle for control of the Great Lakes region of North America, spanning a series of wars over several generations, referred to as the War Years.
On March 1st, 1917, the Provisional Government was established. It was intended to serve as a short-term government that would take the place of the Tsar and rule Russia until elections could be held. Major decisions were made by the Provisional Government, including the continuation of land reforms and Russia's military involvement in World War One. Both decisions severely impacted the Russian people. As a result, the administration lost support and gave revolutionaries more reason to demand its overthrow.
Growing dissent and sympathy for the Soviets were triggered by the Provisional Government's frailty, social and economic issues, and the continuation of the war. The Bolsheviks, led by Lenin, seized control.

Formed by the Convention, the governing body of radicals, the Committee of Public Safety had the duty of dealing with threats to France. Since there were so many in this time of unrest, they were given nearly absolute power. The leader of the Committee explained that terror was needed to protect and further the Revolution, which was enough for the Convention.
Capitalism is an economic and political system in which a country's trade and industry are controlled by private owners for profit, rather than by the state. Nationalism is identification with one's own nation and support for its interests, especially to the exclusion or detriment of the interests of other nations. American capitalism and nationalism could motivate the United States to go to war by inspiring American to go to war and defend their country.
