I would rather not watch and complete this whole thing for you, but it is pretty easy. Just start off by introducing the text that you're referencing in your writing prompt and the author who wrote that text.

Say what you thought would happen in the story at the beginning, then explain two things that happened in the story.

After that, explain how your expectations changed (if they did) due to the two things that happened in the story.

On pages 223 and 224, Carlotta mentions several historical events including the March on Washington, where Dr. King gave his “I
SSSSS [86.1K]

Answer:

Carlotta seems to be removed from the events. She describes her reaction to the March  on Washington like this: “I had no burning desire to participate in a march that seemed  to me then purely symbolic,” but then she felt how powerful it was when she saw the  thousands of people on television. However, when Carlotta heard about the 16th Street  Church bombing and President Kennedy’s assassination, she was horrified.

It seems like her reaction to the March on Washington reflected her experience—a  march by itself didn’t seem to mean much after her time at Central High School where  she faced so much discrimination. Upon hearing the news of the 16th Street Church  bombing, however, she said, “I knew that the same fate so easily could have been  mine.” She identified with the victims in that case. Similarly, President Kennedy’s  assassination made her reflect on her experiences, saying “his life extinguished by the  same kind of hatred that had been so rampant in Little Rock. I wondered how—and  sometimes why—I survived.”

What other units do you know that are used to measure speed?
Annette [7]

Answer:

There are quite a number of units to measure speed and depending on how fast an object is going, some are more preferred than others.

The units are:

  • Metres per second - this is on of the most common units and is regularly used by runners.
  • Kilometres per hour - used by cars, buses and generally objects that move adequately fast.
  • Miles per hour - this is a substitute to kilometers per hour for countries using the imperial system or miles instead of kilometers.
  • Knots - Represent nautical miles and are a unit of speed mostly used to measure wind and water speed.
  • Feet per second - Not as popular but used in countries that don't regularly use metres.
  • Mach number - for really fast objects going faster than sound.
