Guatemala is a multilingual country, it has a total of 24 languages. 22 are Mayan Languages, plus the Xinka language, the Garifuna language and Spanish, of which: Five languages have 300,000 to one million speakers each (including Spanish) Another five have 50 to 120,000 each.
