Sloan [31]

Answer:

Taxes influence the economy by determining how much money the government has to spend in certain areas and how much money individuals should spend. ... A cut in taxes provides families with extra money, which the government hopes will, in turn, be spent on goods and services, thus spurring the economy as a whole.

what penalty did children of russian nobles face if they did not learn mathematics? (in a paragraph)
earnstyle [38]

Answer:

If a child of a Russian noble didn't learn mathematics, that child was not allowed to marry. The Great Sovereign at that time, Peter I, decreed in 1699 that the New Year's celebration switch to January 1 from September 1. He also decreed that children between 10 and 15 had to learn mathematics in order to get married. This didn't apply to children of freeholders and government clerks. After children mastered math, they were given marriage certificates written in their own handwriting. If they didn't master the subject, they weren't allowed to be given these certificates, and thus, couldn't marry.

How many credit hours does a student typically need to complete general education requirements at a four year college
STALIN [3.7K]

To complete general education requirements at a 4 year college, which is called a “college degree,” the undergraduate bachelor’s degree generally takes 4 years to complete, and needs 120-128 semester credit hours.  The 4 years are typically known as the freshman, sophomore, junior and senior year, where the final 2 years are spent taking more courses that are  directly related to your major (emphasis for special professional areas).
