what can the reader infer about the monk's character based on the fact that all of his stories contain the same tragic moral? a.
lapo4ka [179]

In the Canterbury tale by Geoffrey Chaucer, the reader can infer the monk's character based on the fact that all of his stories contain the same tragic moral is that he loses himself in the sermon he is preaching to the audience.

The monk's tale fits the category of the parable because it tells the results of different people's good and bad behavior. The Monk tale is a series of tragedies that represents the news that wealth and position are just an illusion. He refers to the example of many falling from high to low ends, such as the example of Lucifer falling from heaven. Through such examples and stories, he continues to show the people who have fallen from grace.

The model of tragedies that Monk offers is a Boethian one that is which is a reminder of the versatility of life itself, to bring on top to those who are crashing down on the grounds and that the tendency of the feminine, whimsical fortune to spin her wheels. Hence, it is a simple narrative and Boethian reminder that high status often ends inadequately.

When Washington asks Harmilton to work for him, what song that we have listened
Lisa [10]

Answer:

The song is called "My Shot"

Explanation:

Hi, although you did not present the work you are referring to, we can assume, by the context of the question, that you are referring to the musical "Hamilton" which tells about the life and rise of Alexander Hamilton.

During Act 1 of this musical, we can see how Hamilton was a promising soldier during the American revolution, being very fearless and even going so far as to successfully steal cannons from the British army. Hamilton's resourcefulness draws the attention of Washington, the general, who ends up inviting Hamilton to work with him, being his right-hand man. At this point, the song "My Shot" starts playing in the background. This is to emphasize that this is Hamilton's big chance to be important to the cause he fights and to receive the social ascent he's always dreamed of.

Identify whether the clause below is a main clause or a subordinate clause.
Allisa [31]

Answer:

<em>Subordinate clause.</em>

Explanation:

The main clause is a type of clause which is consisted of a subject and a verb and it can function on its own, it even can represent a sentence.

The subordinate clause is a type of clause <em>that can not function alone</em>, usually, it complements the main clause, which we, in this specific case, miss. What we also can notice from the given clause is that it starts with a relative pronoun which, <em>the subordinate clauses are characterized by starting with a relative pronoun (whose, whoever, that...) or a subordinate conjunction (since, because, until...)</em>.
