Answer:

The American Indian's lives were affected by westward expansion during the 1800s, the reason for this occurrance is due to the American Settlers moving west and essentially kicking the American Indian's out of their homes, and off of their land. Another way the American Indian's lives were affected is that after all the lost battles, they were forced to go through assimilation. Assimilation is the process of changing to the "American" culture which all the whites and settlers wanted, and forced the American Indian's to go through this process, changing their lives forever as they had to give up their culture.

Why ia the gupta period referred to as the golden age?
klasskru [66]

This is because, this was the time when the economic and social conditions were comfortable which gave people time to bring out their artistic skills. The architecture was so great and pretty that it was known as the golden age. Also, the Gupta Empire ( Hindi : à¤à¥à¤ªà¥à¤¤ राà¤à¤µà¤à¤¶) was ruled by members of the Gupta dynasty from around 280 to 550 A.D and covered most of Northern India , parts of eastern Pakistan and what is now western India and Bangladesh . The capital, of the Guptas, was Pataliputra , present day Patna , in the Indian state of Bihar . The peace and prosperity created under leadership of Guptas enabled the pursuit of scientific and artistic endeavors. Historians place the Gupta dynasty alongside with the Han Dynasty , Tang Dynasty and Roman Empire as a model of a classical civilization. The time of the Gupta Empire is referred to by some scholars as the Golden Age of India in science , mathematics , astronomy , religion and Indian philosophy

This group was strongly opposed to Jackson's "high handed" and "king-like" behavior.
CaHeK987 [17]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Although there are no options attached, we can say the following.

The group that was strongly opposed to Jackson's "high-handed" and "king-like" behavior was the Whig Party.

US President Andrew Jackson was beloved by many but not all. People from the south and the west of the United States loved him by considering him as "A man of the people."

However, he had tough political rivals as was the case of the members of the Whig Party who did not like his "high-handed" and "king-like" attitudes.

President Jackson was a man of strong character whose decisions not always were well accepted by all. For instance, he wanted the central government to have power over the states. He opposed South Caroline to ignore federal law. He also opposed t the continuity of the National Bank.

What are fossils of organisms that existed over a wide area but for only a limited
V125BC [204]

Index fossils are the fossils of organisms that existed over a wide area but only for a limited time period.

Explanation:

The index fossils are fossils that are of huge use for the scientists of all fields when it comes to the Earth's history and its reconstruction. These fossils have this name because they are good indicators about a particular time period. The scientists are able to determine a geological period without even examining the layers, but just by simply finding these fossils.

There are several characteristics that make the index fossils special. They are found over very large area. Not just that they are found in lot of places, but they are also abundant. They existed only for a limited time period, thus being good indicator of a particular geological period. They are easy to distinguish from the other fossils.

The fossils can be divided into five main categories:

  • trace fossils
  • molds and casts
