Answer:

  • My position on the draft is in favor, because I support the idea that military service should be voluntary.
  • Military service should be voluntary because when it becomes a draft, it ends up violating basic civil rights. For example, some people are radical pacifists, and their pacifism is an intimate part of who they are. If these people were drafted, their right to believe in something would be violated.
  • Voluntary service is without a doubt more just than required military service. Voluntary service does not violate any civil rights, and it may even result in a better military because only those who want to be part of the armed forces end up being recruited.

How were defeated nations treated by the Allies
mel-nik [20]

Answer:

which war are you talking about, am assuming your talking about ww2.

The western allies treated the defeated nations way better than the soviets.

The soviets after ww2 from 1945-1950 committed the Prussian German genocide which is never really talked about but never the less its how the soviets treated the Germans after the war.

there was a genocide and expulsion of 13.5 million Prussian Germans. The Soviets justified this because the Germans committed horrific atrocities during ww2. Japan was treated fairly decent but mainly western allies treated the occupied territory fair compared to the Soviets. The Russians were seeking revenge as 20 or more million Russians died during ww2.

This poster was created during World War II: A color poster shows a woman in a factory setting using a power drill. She wears co
Ilia_Sergeevich [38]

Answer:

B. Five million women joined the workforce in World War II.

Explanation:

During the World War 2, while many abled men were drafted in the United States Army, it opened up working spaces for women. The poster which was widely referred to as "Rosie the Riveter" was an attempt to call women to enter workforce during the war.

However, given that Five million women joined the workforce in World War II. The poster misrepresents the idea that women only worked in the industrial sectors such as welders and riveters during World War II. While the truth is that the majority of working women also worked in non-factory positions in every sector of the economy.

Hence, the right answer is option B. Five million women joined the workforce in World War II.
