Historical sources are the piece of information that are created by people who were the part of historical events. The primary sources are the original records of the event. These sources give idea about how things were in the past. The examples of secondary sources are diaries, journal, letters, photographs, videos, paintings and historical documents like birth certificates,military records and other government documents. A work on history wont be taken seriously if it is only cited in the secondary sources.
