In the story, Dee and Maggie’s ​father ​is BARELY mentioned. The only thing we learn about him is that he made the bench that is

used at the dinner table. You are to write about him. What kind of man is he? Why is he not there with Mama, Dee, and Maggie. You must create a minimum of three paragraphs that will fill in these details, along with any other details that you would want to include. Be creative and tell his story the best way you can.
