Answer:

Explanation:

The Works Progress Administration (WPA) was an ambitious employment and infrastructure program created by President Roosevelt in 1935, during the bleakest years of the Great Depression. Over its eight years of existence, the WPA put roughly 8.5 million Americans to work. Perhaps best known for its public works projects, the WPA also sponsored projects in the arts – the agency employed tens of thousands of actors, musicians, writers and other artists.

Answer:

The unemployment rate in 1935 was at a staggering 20 percent. The WPA was designed to provide relief for the unemployed by providing jobs and income for millions of Americans. At its height in late 1938, more than 3.3 million Americans worked for the WPA.

The WPA – which in 1939 was renamed the Work Projects Administration – employed mostly unskilled men to carry out public works infrastructure projects. They built more than 4,000 new school buildings, erected 130 new hospitals, laid roughly 9,000 miles of storm drains and sanitary sewer lines, built 29,000 new bridges, constructed 150 new airfields, paved or repaired 280,000 miles of roads and planted 24 million trees.

tankabanditka [31]

Answer:

B. The number of crickets in each container.

C. The kind of containers used.

Explanation:

A control experiment can be defined as an experiment in which a condition assumed to be a probable cause of the effect is being compared to the same situation by the scientist without involving or using the suspected condition.

Controlled variable refers to anything or quantity such as group, person, event, etc., that is held constant by the researcher during an experiment and as such is limited.

In this scenario, the two constants in this experiment are;

I. The number of crickets in each of the three identical container.

II. The kind of containers used, they are all identical and as such would have the same properties.

Do you think the American Revolution would have happened if there had not been an Age of Enlightenment?
Leto [7]
Yes, I do think so.

The reason for this is that I think it would be likely that people born and raised in America would feel that Great Britain, which was far away and did not understand Americans' needs and situations, should not rule over them. So I feel that a similar struggle for independence would have happened anyway.
