Justice was traded from the Indians to the Yankees on June 29, 2000 for Ricky Ledee, Jake Westbrook, and Zach Day. He was a member of the 2000 World Series winning team. He played the 2001 season with the Yankees, then was traded to the New York Mets in December of 2001 for Robin Ventura.
