Answer:

This really depends on the point of view and the opinions of an invidiual. I prefer to look at todays world and try to imagine, how would todays world look if exploration and colonization after never happened. Many goods and other stuff would not exist, Population density would be a lot higher, people would poorer, many people who changed the history of world would maybe never be borned or they would not ever have the chance to change the world. On the other hand, many languages would still be spoken and many people would have easier lifes.

Explanation:

As i said. This is really personal question, but i would Yes. Yes, the exploration is justified and worth it. Pluses are bigger then minuses.
