A general education, as it sounds, is based upon more general subjects, subjects you could use in your everyday life and/or across multiple subjects and professions. However, a specific education, as it sounds, it based upon very specific teachings of which are used in places like surgery techniques and things like that. Think about it, can you think of any other place you'd need to know how to do a surgery than whilst doing a surgery?
