The inclusion of Bill of rights in the Texas Constitution provided the people of Texas the power on the government. Civil rights and liberties were provided to the citizens. The Texas Bill of Rights has its base from the U.S. Bill of Rights. It gave freedom and independence to form the republican form of government. Every individual to be treated equal before the law. The government is intended towards being organized and run by the people by casting their votes to their representatives.
The 14th Revision to the U.S Structure, approved in 1868, allowed citizenship to all people born or naturalized within the Joined together States including previous oppressed people and ensures all citizens.
