A conclusion should conclude, or wrap up, the essay. An effective conclusion reminds the reader of the main points by summarizing and leaves the reader with something to take away. This could be an image or some type of task the reader should do. The conclusion should not introduce new information. One of the reasons why is it can confuse the reader. The new information would not be developed enough to help prove the author's point so it would be useless and distracting.
Introducing new information should not be found in a conclusion. A conclusion of a paper should be able to answer all the questions that were provided early on. A conclusion also summarizes the content that had been given and also gives emphasis to the point that you wanted to reach.
