The more time a person spends napping is the less time they spend exercising which means they burn less fat. As a person gains fat their their heart has to work harder to pump blood around the body as the veins and arteries connected to it being to get clogged and more narrow as fat builds up within the walls. This can lead to heart disease.

Read the excerpt from The Great Gatsby.
noname [10]

Answer:

B. he and Daisy are not a happily married couple.

Explanation:

It is obvious from the beginning of the novel that Daisy and Tom are not in love with each other - they are together out of convenience. Daisy still somewhat loves Gatsby and Tom has a mistress. The phone calls he receives during the dinner are from his lover, Myrtle. The author used her to show how empty and vain the characters, especially Tom and Daisy, are in this novel.

                                                                                      90 Aba Owerri Road,

                                                                                      Aba.

                                                                                      February 6, 2021.

The Chairman,

Osisioma Ngwa Local Council Area,

Aba.

          Sir,

                       URGENT REQUEST FOR INFRASTRUCTURAL FACILITIES

It is with a great sense of urgency that I write this letter to you sir. The state of Abia has been faced with an alarmingly increasing challenge of infrastructural decay over the past twenty years. The responsibility of infrastructural development now mostly lies with the administration of local council areas in recent time.

Sir, The Umungasi district in Osisioma Ngwa Local council area is a hub for major economic activities around the council area. Unfortunately, this district is facing terrible infrastructural decay such as lack of access roads and poor drainage systems. This has threatened to cut off some parts of the district from the rest of the Council area.

Secondly, the Umungasi district is the location where the state civil servants' low cost housing project is to be executed. This means that, in the near future, most of the civil servants in Abia State will move into Umungasi district. This implies more robust economic activities and more development to this district and the Local Council in general. This may not be achieved in the midst of the infrastructural decay currently faced by the district,

It is my sincere plea that you treat this matter as urgent.

                                                                                             Yours Faithfully,

                                                                                              Jude Njoku

The reader never learns the real truth about Daisy because
irinina [24]

Answer: a) she is never given the opportunity to speak for herself

b) Daisy dies before any of the rumors about her are confirmed

Explanation:

Daisy Miller is a 1878 novel by Henry James. It tells a story about Daisy Miller, an American girl who travels around Europe with her mother and brother. In a hotel in Switzerland, she meets Winterbourne (also a young American), and the two of them begin their romance.

Initially, Daisy is presented as a young American girl, highly spirited and well-meaning. Throughout the novel, however, Winterbourne tries to determine whether she truly is a 'nice' girl. Daisy's actions do not really reveal much about her persona. The truth that we find out about her is only what we see through the eyes of Winterbourne. As Daisy falls ill and dies, she does not have an opportunity to confirm or deny the rumors about her.
