Answer:

I suddenly woke out of my sleep from all the commotion in the kitchen. My mother was shocked to see that I wasnt getting ready for my Formal, which was happening later on that night. I really didnt want to go but my mom said that should so i could tell my frail Aunt Mina all about it. Aunt Mina is very old and cant live on her own so me and my mom volunteered to take care of her.  As i went to get ready for Formal with the dress my mom made, i noticed a very beautiful set of earrings. I put the earrings up to my ears and instantly got sheepish, they were to beautiful for me. I put them back down and went to go purify myself in the shower.

Which of the following is a fallacy of syllogism? I. non sequitur II. faulty analogy III. hasty generalization
topjm [15]

III. hasty generalization

A syllogistic fallacy is more of a generalization than it is a sequence or analogy. This error of reasoning occurs by first mentioning something broad/general then proceeds to make a conclusion about something that is very specific by means of generalizing. For example, this would be considered fallacy of syllogism:

All jets are air crafts. All propeller airplanes are air crafts. Therefore, propeller airplanes are jets.

Thus, you can see how a generalization is made about propeller airplanes being jets because they are both air crafts.
