Mark Antony figuratively refuted Brutus' claim that he killed Caesar as a savior of Rome and her citizens.  The opposite seems to be the case.  It was the greed, power-hunger, and inordinate ambition of Marcus Brutus that proved to be the main reasons that he killed Caesar.  In his famous speech, Mark Antony reminded the Romans that Caesar was a man of honor and not a tyrant, who was not overly ambitious, having refused the crown thrice, unlike his ungrateful and treacherous conspirators.
